DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a picture that should be quite appealing for fans. While many scenes exhibit a soft focus, images are nicely detailed and solid. Colors are rich and well balance, especially the stage performances within the movie, with the vibrant costumes. Fleshtones appear natural, and blacks are deep and solid. There is occasional shimmering noticed in the finer details, but edge enhancement is the biggest obtrusion, though many scenes are free from its appearance. (Suzanne Hodges)
