DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a generally pleasing picture, with images that are sharp and at times finely detailed. Colors are rich and well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation are nicely rendered. While the picture is mostly solid, with little pixelization, there is some distracting edge enhancement apparent. Source element artifacts are occasional. (Suzanne Hodges)
