A new generation of children will love Wolfgang Petersen
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a generally sharp and detailed picture. Colors are well balanced, with natural fleshtones, and generally deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation should be well balanced. In the misty locations within the story, some pixelization creates a digital appearance. Finer details create shimmering patterns at times. Edge enhancement is also revealed. Showing signs of its age, the source element is revealing of some film grain, dirt and artifacts. (Suzanne Hodges)
Reason #24 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:
I love all the DVD and D-VHS reviews! I also love all the letters from people like me telling the truth about everything. Also, I canít get enough of hi-def info on everything. I can't wait for the next issue! Keep up the good work!
