    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 DVD exhibits a picture that can be sharp and detailed, though many scenes are a bit soft and smeared. Colors are a bit dated, but well balanced, with generally accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Some minor shimmering is noticed in finer details from time to time. Edge enhancement is detected at times, for a hard-edged appearance. (Suzanne Hodges)
