DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits a slightly soft quality, though detail is generally nicely rendered. Colors are nicely balanced, with full, if not over saturation. Blacks are endless and undefined. Pixelization and shimmering details are detected from time to time, creating a digital experience. Minor source element artifacts are occasionally noticed. While the picture looks generally good, there is nothing spectacular about the picture, and the overall softness makes for a generally mediocre experience. (Suzanne Hodges)
