The anamorphically enhanced, THX digitally mastered 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a slightly improved picture when compared to the previously released THX-certified non-anamorphic DVD. While noise is not as much a factor on the new disc when compared to the previous version, the appearance of edge enhancement is unacceptable. Ghostly halos create an annoying hard edge throughout.
