The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture looks great, with images that are sharp and detailed, with good contrast and shadow delineation. Colors are rich and well balanced, with accurate fleshtones, rich hues and deep blacks. At times the picture has a blue tinge to the color scheme, giving a cold feeling to the picture. There is some minor edge enhancement noticed. Pixelization and shimmering details create the occasional distraction, but the picture is mostly very solid. (Suzanne Hodges)
Before WSR, there was a 4:3 picture tube. After WSR, there is a nice 65 inch widescreen rear projection TV. However, it's only a beginning, because WSR started a dream. The reality looks crisper and clearer now, even the sound is more precise and enveloping. Widescreen Review: P5/S5, one's critic’s composite: 5. Thank you, WSR. Keep up the excellent work!
