DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a picture that will surely please in all aspects of image quality. Images are sharp and finely detailed, though there are a few softly focused scenes. Colors are rich and nicely balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation are nicely rendered. Minor pixelization and artifacts are noticed, but generally do not distract. (Suzanne Hodges)

DVD-ROM Review:
Just like all the other PCFriendly compatible releases, The Klumps has the same easy installation. After running PCFriendly, you are brought to a very plain main menu, with links for The Family, The Film, Nutty Stuff, Nutty Features, and DVD Newsletter. The Family is where you can find filmographies on Eddie Murphy and Janet Jackson, as well as introductions to each of the family members in this film. There are also 12 photos from scenes of the movie in this section. The Film contains literature on the story, interviews with five contributors of the film, a soundtrack listing, biographies of the main filmmakers, and a low quality clip of the out takes. There is also the complete music video for Janet Jackson
