The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits images that are slightly soft, though detail can be nicely rendered. Colors are well balanced, with generally accurate fleshtones, rich hues and undefined blacks. The darker scenes exhibit good shadow delineation. There is some minor shimmering noticed. Preferred to the LaserDisc reviewed in Issue 25, the picture is generally pleasing throughout. (Suzanne Hodges)
