    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits pleasing image quality. Colors are bold and well balanced, without appearing over saturated. Fleshtones are accurately rendered, and blacks are deep and solid. Images are sharp and detailed, with pleasing contrast and shadow delineation. There is some rarely noticed edge enhancement. On occasion, fine details shimmer, or some minor pixelization is detected. There are a few softly focused scenes, but otherwise the picture is delightful. (Suzanne Hodges)
