The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a picture with fully saturated color fidelity. Fleshtones are well balanced, and blacks are deep and solid. Images are sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered fine definition, though some scenes appear slightly soft. The picture is quite solid, with good contrast and shadow delineation, for a picture that should be quite satisfying throughout. (Suzanne Hodges)
