DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a beautiful picture, with images that are sharp and finely detailed. Clarity and definition are excellent even in the darker scenes, which are supported with superb shadow delineation and contrast. Colors are vibrant, with rich, solid hues, natural fleshtones, and deep, pure blacks. Though occasional shimmering details are noticed (on clothing, for instance), as well as minor edge enhancement, overall the picture is excellent and should surely please.(Suzanne Hodges)
