DVD Picture:
The 1.85:1 DVD is not anamorphically enhanced and exhibits generally pleasing images. The picture is quite sharp, with satisfying detail and definition. Colors are well balanced and naturally rendered, with accurate fleshtones, though blacks can be slightly weak. While the picture can be a bit dim, with limited shadow delineation, contrast should be satisfying. Edge enhancement and pixelization are noticed, as well as occasional aliasing problems.
