The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD looks generally good, with images that are generally sharp with nicely rendered fine detail at times. The picture can be a bit dark at times, with contrast appearing a bit low, but other times the nostalgic imagery is nicely balanced with good definition. Colors are rich and fully saturated, with generally accurate fleshtones, and deep blacks. Skin tones border reddish-orange hues on occasion. Some of the darker scenes appear a bit muddy. There is minor, infrequent edge enhancement noticed. The source element is clean, with only occasionally noticed grain. (Suzanne Hodges)
