The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a slightly soft picture, but with a fair amount of detail. Colors are nicely saturated, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation are generally good. Fine details shimmer slightly on occasion, but there is no obtrusive edge enhancement. With an overall soft character, the picture is otherwise solid and satisfactory for its age. (Suzanne Hodges)
Reason #97 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:
My favorites are the articles that discuss cutting edge technologies. It keeps me up to date. I also find some of the product and DVD reviews helpful. I'm glad there are others that passionately care about delivering a theatrical experience in the home.
