DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced, windowboxed 1.66:1 picture is presented in both color and black-and-white imagery. The black and white scenes exhibit a generally good gray scale, with generally deep blacks and bright whites. The color scenes exhibit hues that border oversaturation. The picture is somewhat flat and wanting in definition. Source element artifacts and print scratches are apparent. (Suzanne Hodges)
