  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Arturo Ortega (Smits) and his sons (Seda, Collins, Jr. and Hernandez) learn the Price Of Glory through their saga through the world of professional boxing. Arturo had the heart of a lion when he was in the ring, but his talent

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits good quality. The picture is sharp, with nicely rendered contrast and shadow delineation. Fine detail suffers slightly due to colors seeming just slightly exaggerated. However, in the boxing ring, the colors pop from the screen, and blacks are deep and solid. The picture is wanting in dimension, appearing somewhat

DVD-ROM Review:
Price of Glory, another of the PCFriendly releases, has a simple main menu that ties in well with the theme of the movie. From this main menu, you can Play the Movie, view the Script-to-Screen, see the Original Website, or go to the Hot Spot. The script is also well presented, with an easy to read font and a separate window to view the scene. You can also print the script: by scene or in its entirety. The Original Website section sends you online, so you must have an Internet connection established before going there. Once at the site, you can get cast and crew biographies, a short history on Latin boxers, a listing of famous Latin boxers, a section telling what a few Latin surnames mean, and the trailer. When playing the movie from the PCFriendly software, it loads directly to the DVD-Video main menu, which works well with the software. This title really is not very good. It does not have anything special, just a script and a link to a Web site. The Web site has some interesting information, but is only accessible to those connected to the Internet, which defeats the purpose in my mind. (Danny Richelieu)
