DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a picture with images that are generally sharp, but are often surrounded by soft, hazy halos also noticed on subtitles. Colors can be very vibrant, but for the most part are dated and wanting in definition. Print scratches and artifacts are bothersome throughout. Edge enhancement is noticed on occasion. Sometimes the picture can look quite solid, and the use of color and be quite intriguing, but overall image quality is generally mediocre. (Suzanne Hodges)
