DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD is quite good. Images are sharp and finely detailed throughout. The animated colors are rich, with full saturation and excellent dimension. I found myself occasionally distracted by edge enhancement, but even more so by backgrounds that had an unsightly grimy, grainy appearance. Thankfully, these scenes do not make up a majority of the image quality; so overall, the picture is pleasing. (Suzanne Hodges)
