    Story Synopsis:
    Based on the novel by Stephen King, The Dead Zone stars Christopher Walken as Johnny Smith, a man just awakening from a five-year coma. His world has shattered around him; he

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a dated picture that is generally sharp and detailed throughout. Sometimes fine details are nicely rendered, while other times images are a bit soft. Colors are a little dark and muted, but exhibit good balance. Contrast and shadow delineation are nicely rendered, with generally good visual information available in the darkest scenes. Some pixelization and edge enhancement are noticed, but overall, the picture is generally pleasing.
