DVD Picture:
This documentary is, appropriately, of varying quality due to the hundred-plus movie clips featured. The non-anamorphic DVD is generally pleasing in interviews with the cinematographers, slightly soft (as are titles throughout), but with good color balance. Still, this is an informative piece that would not be viewed based on picture or sound quality. The aspect ratio on this disc is variable, due to its content.
Soundtrack:
The Dolby(r) Digital 1.0 soundtrack is undistinguished mono. There's basically nothing to impress here, and listening below reference level is desirable.
