    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits pleasing quality with sharp and detailed images into backgrounds. Colors sometimes appear a bit pumped-up, but are otherwise nicely balanced. Shadow delineation is excellent, with nicely rendered depth between darkness and picture black. The slight hard-edged appearance, as well as edge enhancement, keeps this otherwise pleasing picture from reference quality.
