Story Synopsis:
When legendary comic filmmaher Sandy Bates (Allen) gets tired of making funny films, he decides to go in a new direction in Stardust Memories. Of course, everyone hates it which sends him near the brink of a nervous breakdown at a retrospective of his films. DVD Picture:
The black & white anamorphically enhanced DVD exhibits good gray scale quality. Measuring 1.85:1, the picture exhibits nicely rendered shadow delineation. Blacks are solid and undefined. Images are generally sharp and detailed, and revealing of fine film grain. Enhancement and pixelization are noticed, but overall, the black and white transfer is nicely done.
