Story Synopsis:
Desperately Seeking Susan stars pop diva Madonna in her screen debut as the elusive and oddly engaging Susan, a renegade on the run from a host of enemies and admirers. Roberta (Arquette) is a neglected housewife who takes interest in the personal ads Susan places to communicate with her boyfriend. Soon, her intrigue becomes obsession, and when a freak accident leads Roberta to believe that she is Susan, she finds herself on the run from a dark stranger, her husband, and Susan herself.
