Story Synopsis:
The bad news is that Buena Vista Home Entertainment is still taking advantage of us by their forced ads. The good news is that the Bicentennial Man DVD only has one up-front promo. Now, back to our regular programming.... Robin Williams stars as an android who just wants to be a real man, and the family that purchases him soon realizes tthat there is much more underneath the surface than circuit boards and wires. Eventually, he begins to evolve into a flesh and blood human

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD is truly beautiful, with excellent clarity, sharpness and fine detail. The colors are wonderfully balanced and easy on the eyes, with natural fleshtones, rich hues and deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation are nicely presented. There are no distracting artifacts or pixelization, though fine film grain is occasionally noticed for a picture that is very film like and gorgeous.
