DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD is truly beautiful, with excellent clarity, sharpness and fine detail. The colors are wonderfully balanced and easy on the eyes, with natural fleshtones, rich hues and deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation are nicely presented. There are no distracting artifacts or pixelization, though fine film grain is occasionally noticed for a picture that is very film like and gorgeous.
