DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits generally pleasing image quality. The black-and-white scenes exhibit a good gray scale, with pleasing contrast. Color fidelity is nicely rendered, exhibiting full saturation and deep blacks. Colors are a little on the exaggerated side. While images are sharp and detailed, the picture can seem a bit "digital" at times. This stylized picture is nicely rendered throughout, with some pixelization and edge enhancement apparent.
