    Story Synopsis:
    Offered here is the original, full-length British version of The Slipper And The Rose, an entertaining re-telling of the classic fairy tale of Cinderella. With music and lyrics by the talented team of Robert and Richard Sherman

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture is dated with a slightly hazy appearance. Images are generally wanting in sharpness, appearing a bit smeared, but exhibit satisfactory detail. While colors are bright, true saturation is wanting, with blacks appearing a bit weak. The source element is revealing of dirt, artifacts and scratches. Also, the negative splices are noticed on occasion. (Suzanne Hodges)

    I primarily read WSR for unbiased information concerning the future of HD DVD. Articles are written in such a way that the average consumer can understand the technology and benefits of HD DVD. It's nice to be able to read articles from purist videophiles/audiophiles who clearly state their opinion on technologies/products with clear, understandable supporting information.
