  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
It

DVD Picture:
When compared to the LaserDisc reviewd in Issue 34, the anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD is slightly sharper, though the picture is really wanting in clarity and a more natural appearance overall. Colors are slightly more refined with better balance, but are still a bit oversaturated. Contrast and shadow delineation are mediocre, as is the overall quality of the disc. Film grain and artifacts are revealed throughout, but it is the overall lack of sharpness that makes image quality seem just under par.
