    Story Synopsis:
    Reviewed on LaserDisc, in Widescreen Review

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits improvements in color fidelity, sharpness and contrast when compared to the LaserDisc reviewed in Issue 1. Images are sharp and finely detailed, with good background clarity. Some scenes are a little soft. Colors are rich with full saturation, accurately rendered fleshtones and deep blacks that lack definition in the darker scenes. The black and white flashback scenes are revealing of film grain and exhibit an appealing gradation throughout the gray scale. Occasional edge enhancement is noticed, as well as pixelization, but overall, the picture is quite pleasing.
