    With deep blacks and good shadow delineation, the darkest scenes in the anamorphically enhanced 2.38:1 DVD can look good. Resolution is also good, but the finest details are not as well defined as on the best captures. In bright outdoor scenes, the image can be too highly contrasted, but is not consistently so.
