Slow Burn

When working class Essex boy Brian Jackson (McAvoy) is excepted into a upper-class University, he sets out to realize his long time dream of appearing in the U.K.'s most popular quiz show, University Challenge. Despite his underpriveledged background, Brian tries to win a spot on his school's competitive quiz team in order to appear on the show. When he developes a crush on a Posh girl that is also on the same quiz team, he sets out to erase the class lines that separate the two. "Starter for Ten" is a bittersweet romantic comedy that will make you think twice about the social class system still present in the twenty-first century. (Stacey Pendry)
