Story Synopsis:
When forty-something divorced television producer Rosie (Pfeiffer) finds herself attracted to Adam (Rudd), a twenty-something actor in her TV show, she is beseeched by doubt. With Mother Nature (Ullman) constantly reminding her of her maturing body, and her conniving secretary Jeannie (Alexander) putting the moves on her new man, Rosie decides to tell Adam I Could Never Be Your Woman. It is up to Adam and her daughter Izzie (Ronan) to convince Rosie that she is never too old to fall in love. (Stacey Pendry)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a picture with somewhat blown-out whites, with overly pumped contrast. Black levels are adequately deep and shadow delineation is good, which helps create a believably dimensional image. Colors generally have a washed, pastel appearance, and fleshtones are unnaturally pink. Resolution is fairly good, but there are times when the image can be somewhat soft. The image generally looks overly digitized, and edge enhancement is recognizable. (Danny Richelieu)
