Story Synopsis:
When working-class Essex boy Brian Jackson (McAvoy) is accepted into a top university, he decides to try out for the college quiz team in order to fulfill a life-long dream of appearing on TV quiz show, University Challenge. He soon becomes smitten with Alice (Eve), the prettiest girl on his quiz team. With his ultimate fantasy of winning University Challenge and bettering his lot in life within his grasp, he struggles with relationships both old and new in this bittersweet coming-of-age comedy.
