Story Synopsis:
After aspiring screenwriter Carter Webb (Brody) gets dumped by the love of his life, he moves from Los Angeles to Michigan to care for his ailing grandmother (Dukakis). Carter becomes involved with his grandmother
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.33:1 DVD shows fairly good resolution and bold, bright colors, but fleshtones can have an underdefined, pasty look. Black levels are adequately deep and details in the shadows are delivered nicely, creating a deep and dimensional image. Pixilation and shimmering can be seen throughout the presentation and edge enhancement is fairly strong and can become bothersome. (Danny Richelieu)
