Story Synopsis:
Administrative Assistant Peggy (Shannon) is by all accounts a good employee, a good friend and a loving dog owner. In the Year Of The death of her Dog, she is set on a path to find her new perfect companion. After adopting nearly every dog in the local shelter, will poor Peggy find her new best friend in a fellow animal-rights activist Newt (Sarsgaard), or be left alone with her four-legged friends? (Stacey Pendry)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD has a very soft appearance, with poorly resolved details and an out-of-focus look. Color saturation looks rather pasty, but fleshtones look fairly natural with good distinction between different subjects. Black levels are fairly deep and shadow delineation is good. Some compression artifacts can be noticed from time to time, and edge enhancement can be seen on high-contrast transitions. (Danny Richelieu)
