Subscribe FreeWhat can I say about Tideland, except that it is by far the strangest movie I have ever seen. The story revolves around young Jeliza-Rose (Ferland), her drug-addicted father (Bridges), and her imagination. Director Terry Gilliam states in his introduction at the beginning of the film that this is a movie seen through the eyes of a child and that some will love it, some won't, and some won't know what to think. I'm one of the ones who aren't sure what to think, but I do think I liked it. Based on the novel "Tideland" by Mitch Cullin. (Tricia Spears)
