DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 DVD often looks soft, but black levels, for the most part, are deep, and shadow delineation is good, which helps create a very dimensional image. Colors pop from the screen, and contrast is well balanced. There are scenes where the black levels are milky, which can be distracting. There are times when the image can look very good, but it is just too inconsistent. (Danny Richelieu)
