  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Scarier than any horror film we've ever reviewed, sadder than any tear-jerker, and more unbelievable than any science fiction, this is the story of what happened to our great nation before, during, and after that fateful September morning in 2001 when Osama Bin Laden carried out the deadliest attack ever On America's Native Soil. The families and survivors of the attack questioned who, why, and how we could have allowed this to happen and demanded to get to the bottom of the truth. Finally, after more than a year of effort on their part and a two-year investigation into it, The Documentary of The 9/11 Commission Report was made public for all to see. (Tricia Spears)

DVD Picture:
As might be expected from a documentary that is a collection of film and video from various different sources, the anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture is generally not good. Even the controlled footage, such as direct interviews, looks soft and pixilated. Heavy amounts of edge enhancement can also become a distraction. (Danny Richelieu)
