  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Following in the footsteps of his father and his father's father, Tony Swofford (Gyllenhaal) enlists in the United States Marine Corp

DVD Picture:

Considering a slight desaturation to give the picture a dry appearance that is complementary to the Middle-Eastern desert, colors are generally natural and well balanced. Images are sharp and nicely detailed overall. The picture is quite clean and solid, with little in the way of bothersome pixelization, and no edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)
