The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits warm fleshtones and deep blacks, but colors are slightly subdued. Shadow delineation is poorly defined, as the many dark scenes can look flat and dimensionless. Details are well resolved on tight shots, but medium and long shots can be blurred by edge enhancement Edge enhancement can be distracting, and pixilation can make the image look blocky and digital.
