The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a bold color palette with well-balanced contrast, making for an enjoyable presentation. Contrast is also balanced well, but fleshtones have a reddish hue that can become a distraction at times. Black levels are slightly milky, but shadow delineation is lacking, as details in the darkest scenes can be crushed. Details in general can look rather soft, and color bleeding can be noticed at times. Edge enhancement is not recognizable but pixel breakup and noise can be noticed throughout. (Danny Richelieu)
