    Story Synopsis:
    The Replacement Killers is a fierce action-thriller starring international boxoffice action hero Chow Yun-Fat as John Lee, a Chinese immigrant to America, who was unable to execute a deadly favor for druglord Terence Wei

    DVD Picture:
    Compared to the previous two DVD releases, this new anamorphically enhanced extended cut exhibits nice improvements in same scene comparisons, no doubt due to a higher bit rate dedicated to this DVD. Color fidelity is still nicely saturated, with warm hues, natural fleshtones and deep blacks. Sometimes objects can appear somewhat edgy, but obvious halos are not a problem with this title. Pixelization is also limited. A few flecks of dirt are inherent in the source element. (Suzanne Hodges)
