With what appears to be a higher average bit rate over the original DVD release, the 1.78:1 DVD picture looks noticeably more refined, with better detail and less pixilation. Edge enhancement, which was bothersome in the original DVD release, has been cleaned up. Colors are not as vibrant as more current animated titles can be, but they still look better than the original release. While not perfect, the picture is better than the previous release.
