The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits a nicely rendered picture, with well-balanced, richly saturated colors; accurate fleshtones; and deep, but undefined, blacks. Images are generally sharp and nicely detailed overall. Contrast and shadow delineation are perfectly adequate for the often-dark visuals.
