Story Synopsis:
You'd think that it would be difficult to run a Delicatessen/apartment complex in a post-apocalyptic future, but not in this small French town. With a new supply of fresh cut meat, a job opening, and a new room to let, the butcher is ready to allow a slightly-petite former circus clown get settled in. But it isn't long before the new guy on the block realizes that he just might be the next thing on the community's dinner plates. (Suzanne Hodges)
DVD Picture:
The anamoprhically enhanced 1.82:1 DVD picture has a fantastic look that is both eerie and surreal. The color palette tends to have tobacco overtones that enhance the post-apocalyptic setting. Image sharpness is adequate, although lacking in finer details. Minor smearing and pixel breakup is occasionally noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
