Story Synopsis:
Whether it's with a vodka-guzzling "Princess" (Page) or the daughter (Knight) of the baddest man in town, Chance Wayne (Newman) aims to get what and who he wants, and he doesn't intend to let anyone stop him. Based on Tennessee Williams' play "Sweet Bird Of Youth" as presented on the stage by Cheryl Crawford. (Tricia Spears)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits dated characteristics, with flecks of dirt scattered throughout the source element. Colors are a bit dim and err toward brown, but can be nicely balanced. Sharpness is satisfying although finer details are lacking and some scenes are softly focused. Pixelization is noticed at times. (Suzanne Hodges)
