    Story Synopsis:
    Silly-faced dogcatcher Walter (Carrey) is given a book by his wife (Madsen), which deals with the powerful, and mysterious, Number 23. It is while reading that Walter draws a parallel between the fictional book detective Fingerling (Carrey...again) and himself. And this parallel is further complicated when Fingerling murders a prostitute, Fabrizia (Madsen ...again), causing the line between fiction and reality to blur. (Jack Kelley)
