Special features on this "Finally In Widescreen"edition include commentary with Cher, director Norman Jewison, and writer John Patrick Shanley; a 25-minute documentary "Moonstruck: At The Heart Of An Italian Family"; "Pastas To Pastries: The Art Of Fine Italian Food," which is an interactive tour of New York City's Little Italy; and a six-minute "Music Of Monstruck" featurette.
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture looks great, with nicely balanced colors, accurate fleshtones, and deep blacks. Images are often sharp and nicely detailed, although some scenes are softly focused. The source element is clean, with few artifacts or dirt. Some pixel breakup is noticed, but edge enhancement is not a problem. (Suzanne Hodges)
