The anamorphically enhanced 2:40:1 DVD picture can look good, but it is pretty rare. Flesh tones are accurate, looking healthy in outdoor scenes and pallid when under fluorescent lighting. The source element is very clean. There are scenes that can look terrible, with heavy pixel breakup and noticeable MPEG-2 artifacts. (Danny Richelieu)
