Subscribe FreeTerminal illness forces May (Banks) and her teenage daughter, June (Traub), to Ducktown, Tennessee, to find Daltry Calhoun (Knoxville). May's last request is that the turf entrepreneur must step up to the plate and be a father to June, an intellectual budding musician. By all outward appearances, Daltry should have no problem caring for June financially, but he is secretly liquidating his assets since bizarre growths began popping up on golf courses across the states. The burden seems to be too much for Daltry to bear, but with the help of his friends and the understanding of his daughter, there just might be light at the end of the fairway. (Suzanne Hodges)
